Looking for a service and installation technician of wood, pellet & gas stoves & fireplaces. You will be teamed up with an experienced installer, travel out to homes and sometimes go up on roofs to install chimney systems or liners. Plenty of training available and if you progress you could be the next lead installer. There is plenty of room for advancement depending on your enthusiasm and ability to get licensed. Northeast Distribution LTD is looking for a skilled and experienced Hearth Technician to join our team to provide technical support to our dealer base. The ideal candidate will specialize in wood, gas, pellet, and venting hearth applications along with knowledge of outdoor gas and pellet grills, firepits and accessories. As an In-House Hearth Industry Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to our dealers via phone and email, as well as supporting our Distribution Center with any technical issues that arise.

Job Responsibilities:
•Provide technical support to dealers via phone and email for a variety of hearth and outdoor products including wood, gas, and pellet appliances, venting systems and related components.
•Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues and provide guidance on appropriate solutions.
•Collaborate with our Lead Technician and our Vendor Partner technicians, to identify and resolve complex issues.
•Support our Distribution Center with technical issues that arise, including quality control and testing of products.
•Provide technical product training to both the administrative and warehouse operations teams.
•Document and maintain accurate records of all technical support work performed.
Requirements:
•Experience in Hearth Industry, specializing in wood, gas, pellet, and venting applications.
•Experience with outdoor gas and pellet grills, fire pits and outdoor accessories.
•Strong technical skills and knowledge of hearth industry products, including their installation, operation and maintenance.
•Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures related to hearth and outdoor products.
•Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
•Ability to stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
•Strong communication skills with the ability to provide exceptional customer service on proper usage, safety and maintenance of hearth and outdoor products. You will be able to answer customer inquiries, troubleshoot issues and provide solutions.
•Knowledge of computer systems and software programs for maintaining accurate records and communicating with customers and other team members.
